Raymond Kent Karrick

Raymond Kent Karrick peacefully departed this world, moving onto the Kingdom of Heaven this day of March 15, 2026.

Raymond was born in Peoria Illinois on May 20, 1941, to his parents, William and Martha Karrick. He grew up in Central Illinois alongside his thirteen siblings. After leaving school to enter the workforce, he took up several different fields of employment. While in his profession of Carpentry, he met his life-long partner, Edna Louise Downard. They were soon married on August 28, 1960. They shared a joyous marriage that lasted for 65 years. Ray and Edna had 3 sons: Ray Karrick Jr. born July 4, 1961, Glenn Scott Karrick born September 20, 1963, and Rodney Karrick born July 21, 1967.

Their 3 sons gave Ray and Edna 6 beautiful grandchildren, that have grown to also give Ray and Edna 11 great-grandchildren. Raymond Karrick was an extraordinarily compassionate and unprejudiced man that will be dearly missed by his beloved. God’s Speed Dad / Friend / Husband.
