Rebecca "Becky" Jean (Kennedy) Topp

Rebecca "Becky" Jean Topp, 70, of Madison, Alabama passed away peacefully in her home Tuesday, June 14, 2022 surrounded by her family. Becky was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on November 18, 1951, to the large and loving family of the late Clarence O'dell Kennedy and Mary Lillian (McMurray) Kennedy. Becky was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She will be remembered for her years of faithful service in many capacities. On August 27, 1974, Becky married Robertson Topp of Memphis, Tennessee. She worked as a homemaker, blessing her family and those around her with tireless service, her good humor, and her loving presence. Becky was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Judith Ann Kennedy, Tommie Jo Denton, and William G. Kennedy.

She is survived by her husband and her children Jenny Rinehart, Amy Bettenhausen, Vance Topp, and Marjorie Anderson, as well as her grandchildren Ryan, Abigail, and Patrick Anderson; Jacob, Nathan, Mary, Aaron, Joel, Rachel, and Samuel Bettenhausen; and Kennedy and Lily Topp. She is also survived by her siblings Maurene Walquist, Louise Cupp, Delores Jensen, Clara Rushing, Jenny Garcia, J. Michael Kennedy, and Stephen M. Kennedy.
