Ricky David Gurley

Rick Gurley, 70, died unexpectedly in his sleep on May 18th, 2022, at his place of residence. He was born June 25th, 1951, in Huntsville, Alabama, to Raymond and Dorothy (Daniels) Gurley. Rick graduated from Lee High School in 1969 and went on to study a trade in Dental Creation and Design of Crown and Bridge. He spent 25 years perfecting his career, with 20 of those owning his own business. Rick was a lover of all things nature and enjoyed his time meditating in the open air on inner peace and past healing as a way to bring comfort and serenity to his heart. He never stopped learning and searching for the bigger meaning of life and enjoyed reading books that gravitated towards love and light. In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his son Clinton Taylor “C.T.” Gurley and his brother Raymond “Skip” Gurley. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Lonnie) Lewis and Amber (Derek) Odette, his sisters, Rhonda (David) Patterson and Belinda (Scott) Sellick, and his grandchildren, Hannah Hill, Tucker Johnson, Kaydence Gurley, Lilly Odette, Alex Gurley, and Spencer Odette. A memorial for the family will be announced at a later date.
