Rosalyn Clark, age 87, of Meridianville, AL, passed away Thursday, Sept 14th, 2023 peacefully at her home.
Rosalyn was born in Colt, Arkansas, to Marvin and Vivian Gilbert on April 9th,1936. She graduated from Forrest City High School in 1954.
She worked as a Secretary for the State of Alabama, and retired from the State in 1999 with 25 years of service. She was devoted to her family and faith, and was a faithful member of Lakewood United Methodist Church, in Huntsville, AL and then First United Methodist Church in Crossville, TN.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dewitt Clark; sons, Brad Clark and Roland Clark (Debbie); and sisters, Earle Jean Kenville (Bob), Molly Wewers (Denis), and Camille Jefferson. She has seven grandchildren, Kyle Clark (Nikki), Ryan Clark, Courtney Clark, Jeremy Clark, Britton Clark, Bryant Clark, Ella Clark; and two great grandchildren, Freya Clark and Axle Clark. She has many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Spry Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL on Monday, September 18th. Visitation is from 5:00-6:00 PM and memorial service starts at 6:00 PM.
Memorial donations can be made to any Alzheimer's charity.
Rosalyn walked with Christ for over 70 years and is now with Him face to face in glory. Her family will miss her greatly, but rejoice she is with the Lord.
