Roya Mosayebi-Sotoudehnia

Roya Mosayebi-Sotoudehnia, 59, passed away peacefully in her home on October 22, 2018. She was born August 23, 1959 in Shiraz, Iran. She moved from Iran in 1977 to pursue her education at the University of Oklahoma. She completed her B.S. in Civil Engineering at the University of Alabama A&M. After graduating, she pursued the route of entrepreneurship and opened, operated, and maintained two successful convenient stores in Huntsville, AL. Once closing that chapter of her life, she decided to enter into the real estate market. There, she was in the process of achieving the same goals as she set for herself before. Roya loved summer days where she could relax in or by the pool, she loved playing soccer with her grandson, and she loved taking care of her family. Family was the most important thing to her, and she wouldn’t pass any opportunity to further that bond. She is survived by her husband of forty-two years, Abdolhossain; her two sons, Sohrob and Sommun; a grandson, Jackson. Friends and others whose lives Roya has touched are invited to Spry Funeral Home, 2411 Memorial Pkwy NW, on Thursday October 25, 2018 at 5:30 pm to reminisce, grieve and offer condolences.
