Ruth Sherban passed away on March 31, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama. Ruth was born on June 20, 1969, in Huntsville, Alabama where she later graduated from J. O. Johnson High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tarleton and Amelia Elliott, and her brother, Paul Elliott. She is survived by her husband, Paul Sherban; sisters Denise (Ray) Wales of Fairhope, AL, Annette (William) Goss of Gurley, AL, and Stephanie (Billy) Atchley of New Market, AL; and 5 nephews, 1 niece, and 1 great-niece.
