Salvatore A. Leto

Salvatore (Sam) Anthony Leto, was born on June, 6th, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa to his parents Ignazis and Giuseppina Leto.

Sam graduated from Bowling High School (Des Moines) High School. He served in the USAF as a Flight Trainer Engineer. He worked for USBI, Boeing Ind., and US Marshall Space Flight Center. He was a statistical parts analyst during the time the space shuttle went down in early 1986.

Sam was a father of three sons, Michael, Steven, and Victor Leto.

Sam is preceded in death by his father, mother, wife (Patsy), two sons Michael and Steven. He is also preceded in death by three brothers Father Nelo, Joseph, John along with three sisters Rosealie, Francis and Sister Mary.

Sam is survived by his son Victor Leto, two grandsons, Dylan Leto, Cassidy Geborkoff, and the only surviving sister in-law Ethylen Stone.
