Salvatore Riccardi Jr.

Salvatore Riccardi JR, 66, son of Salvatore Riccardi and Mary Lousie Brinkman Riccardi (deceased), of Biloxi, MS, passed away October 16, 2023.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Riccardi; his sister, Maria Morin (Bernie); his children, Richard Edmund Ricks II, Salvatore Riccardi III (Tabitha), Angela Mary Riccardi (Tommy), Alison Jane “AJ” Riccardi Sutton (David); seven grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Salvatore was born in Bitburg, Germany being a child of an Air Force Chief Master Sergeant and grew up in various countries including Morocco, England, and the Philippines. After graduating high school at Biloxi High, Sal enlisted in the U.S. Air Force from 1974 to 1977 ranked as a Senior Airman. He later pursued a Master's Degree in Sociology from the University of Southern Mississippi. Since 1988, he made Huntsville, AL his home where he enjoyed spending time with his family and his musical hobby of playing guitars among many other instruments. Sal made everyone who knew him laugh at all the stories he shared in his expressive way. Our family is grateful to know that Sal is at peace.

Burial Service will be held at Valley View Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 11:00am for friends and family. A gathering will be held at Spry Funeral Home from 2-4pm to celebrate Sal’s life.
