Samuel M Bentley

Samuel M. Bentley, 90, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024. He was born July 19, 1934 to Ray and Lilla Bentley in Anniston, Alabama.

Mr. Bentley is a Master Mason a member of the Apollo Masonic Lodge No.921, Shriner, Scottish Rite Mason and a member of Cahaba Shrine. Mr. Bentley retired from the Air Force in 1974.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Bentley, his parents; his sons Dennis, Gary and Bruce Bentley and 2 granddaughters.

Mr. Bentley is survived by his sister, Ann (Dietger) Hoffmann of Leesburg, FL; brother, Jackie Bentley of Oneota, Al; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. Visitation will take place at Spry on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 42024 in Spry Funeral Home’s chapel at 11:00am with interment immediately proceeding at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
