Sandra Kay (Burke) Heatherly

Sandra Kay Heatherly, of Ryland, AL passed peacefully on Sunday, June 23, 2024, in Decatur Alabama. She was 64 years old. Sandy spent her entire life serving others at numerous restaurants in Huntsville and Madison County. To know Sandy was to love her, she loved to laugh and have a good time. Sandy would give you the shirt off her back if you asked, and she might even if you didn’t.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Willie Lee “Bill” Burke and Evelyn Carolyn Burke.

Sandy is survived by her siblings and family that cared for her deeply; Rita Richey, Jan Jones, Kenneth “Bobo” Burke (Teri). Sandy’s granddaughters, who she thought hung the moon, Abigail and Harper Jarboe, and daughter Amanda Jarboe (Nathan). Sandy had a host of nieces and nephews, along with great nieces and great nephews who she loved dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
