Sandra (Barrett) Rich

Sandra Rich passed peacefully on Thursday, November 5th at the age of 86.  Born in San Antonio, Texas, Sandra lived in Huntsville for the past 41 years.  Sandra's greatest passion was for her husband of 61 years, who preceded her in death, and family.  Holidays and birthdays were always a special time for her family because of her meticulous preparation and the delicious meals she would prepare.  Her greatest joy was serving her Lord and Savior along side her husband as the first Matron of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Birmingham Temple.  For all that knew her through to her final days, they knew her for the genuine smiles she always greeted people with.
Sandra is survived by her children John and Susan; grandchildren Ammon, Sarah, Susan, William, and Emelie; and great grandchildren Wyatt, Killian, and Lydia.
Visitation will be held at the Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville on Monday, November 9th from 10 to 11 am, followed by a graveside service at 11:30 am at Valhalla Memory Gardens where she will be interred beside her husband.
