Sherry Hulsey League

Sherry Hulsey League, 74, passed away at home on September 30, 2025, following an extended illness.

She is survived by her daughter, Christy League; her brother, Edwin (Paula) Hulsey; her uncle, Ricky (Jan) Hulsey; her aunt, Carolyn Robinson; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry League; her parents, Wayne and Evelyn Hulsey; and her brothers, Wayne Jr. (Al), Danny, and Mark Hulsey.

Sherry graduated from Buckhorn High School in 1969 and worked in real estate for several years before retiring from the Huntsville-Madison County Airport Authority.

She loved spending time at the beach, listening to country music, and being with her daughter, Christy, along with her beloved fur babies, Ginger and Roxie.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that friends plant a favorite tree in her memory (she especially loved the redbud tree) or donate to the American Cancer Society or the Greater Huntsville Humane Society.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 11, at 1:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 1418 Old Railroad Bed Road, Madison, Alabama. A reception will immediately follow, and all are welcome to attend.
