Sofee (Crawford) Fears

Brenda Sofee Fears, 75, passed away on September 7, 2021. She was a resident of New Market, Alabama. Sofee was a retired flight attendant and worked with her husband J. Wayne Fears in his writing business. She graduated from Shades Valley High School in Birmingham.

Sofee was preceded in death by her parents Robert & Mary Crawford and sister Kathy

Survivors include her husband J. Wayne Fears, brother Tim Crawford (Penny), son James Merk (Amy), grandchildren Crawford and Campbell.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Whitesburg Baptist Church on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 11:00am with Rev. David Loyed presiding. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior at 10:30am. 

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial gifts be made to Huntsville Hospital Foundation, designated to Hospice Family Care. They were wonderful to Sofee and her family during her final days.
