Steven Alan Bennett

Steven Alan Bennett, age 77, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on July 27, 2025 at his home, surrounded by friends and family.

Mr. Bennett was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He served in Vietnam, earning a Bronze Star Medal. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Killingsworth Bennett; one son, Jimmy Bennett (Leslie); one daughter Tish Graham (Tee); one grandson, James Bennett; two granddaughters, Kaitlyn Hadley and Jaylee Graham; one niece, Jeannie Bennett Russell; three nephews, Kevin Bennett, Arlen Bennett, and Jeff Bennett; and lifelong friends Mack and Gina Yates.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Griner Bennett and Jeannie Bartlett Bennett and his brothers Bernard Bennett and George Bennett.

Services will be held at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025  from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Service will be held the following day, Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 11:00am followed by the Graveside Service at Maple Hill Cemetery.
