Susan Lynn (Vaughan) Vaughan

Susan Lynn “Susie” Vaughan, age 59, passed away on May 1, 2025, in Athens. Alabama.

Born on May 2, 1965, in Michigan City, Indiana, Susie brought warmth and compassion into the world from the very beginning. She later made her home in Pahokee, Florida, where she became known for her caring nature and selfless spirit.

Susie was a devoted mother to her four children, Anthony Forshee, Amy Forshee, Patricia Forshee, and Thomas Forshee. Her love extended deeply to her grandchildren- Keely, Hailey, Curtis, Andrea, Harley, Makayla, Ziya, Carla, Carlos, and Layla- each of whom held a special place in her heart.

She shared a close bond with her siblings, Bobby, William, Kathy, Cheryl, Charlotte, Carla, and Johnny Ray. Though preceded in death by her brother, Richard Vaughan, and her parents, William and Peggy Vaughan. Susie’s memory continues to live on through the many lives she touched.

Those who knew Susie, will remember her as a loving and generous soul whose presence brought comfort and joy. Her legacy is one of kindness and unwavering devotion to family.

May her memory bring peace to all who loved her.
