Teresa Ann (Ledbetter) Ledbetter

Teresa “Teri” Ann Ledbetter, 67, of Harvest, AL, passed away on October, 24th, 2025.

She was a loving partner, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend whose kindness touched everyone who knew her. 

Family meant everything to her. Being a mother and grandmother were among her greatest joys. She was immensely proud of her sons and cherished every moment she spent with her grandchildren. 

She loved the beach, the mountains, and being surrounded by nature. She also enjoyed cooking and baking—and was especially good at it. She had a special place in her heart for animals and frequently donated to a local animal shelter. She was a tshirt-and-blue jeans kind of lady with a love for beautiful jewelry. She enjoyed watching Jewelry TV and took joy in picking out special pieces to give as gifts. She was a generous and kindhearted woman who consistently put others before herself. Never one to judge, she loved unconditionally. Her love was evident to all who knew her, as she expressed it freely and often.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she has been reunited in Heaven with her beloved mother, whom she missed dearly. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her strength, and the deep love she had for her family.

She is survived by her significant other of more than 30 years, Jeffery Matthews; her sons, Eli Waligora and Jake Waligora (Hallie); grandchildren, Karlee Neal and Lincoln Waligora; great-grandson, Harrison Neal; brothers, John Ledbetter, David Ledbetter (Angie), Matthew Ledbetter (Betsy); nephews, Jonathan Ledbetter and Joey Ledbetter; niece, Samantha Anderson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Earl Ledbetter and Geraldine Zinsmeister Ledbetter and her brother, Tommy Ledbetter.

A celebration of Teri’s life will be held at Spry Funeral Home in Huntsville, Alabama on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025 at 1:00pm with Reverend Bob Waites officiating.
