Wanda Hall Obituary

Wanda Kirkman Hall, 88, passed away New Year’s Day after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She joins her late husband Joe “Corky” Hall, her parents Percy and Bernice Kirkman, her brother Bobby Kirkman, and her sister Judy Cole.  She is survived by her four daughters: Sharon Thompson of Chattanooga, Susan Sanderson (Tommy), Shanda Loftin, and Stacy Cox (Lee) of Huntsville. eight grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren. For Wanda, the most important days of her life were the day she accepted Jesus, the day she married Joe, and the days her daughters arrived. Born in Mt. Airy, NC, on May 9, 1932, Wanda moved to Huntsville in 1959, where she raised her girls and built a large extended family of friends. She embraced life and people with open arms and drew others to her with her understanding and compassion. Wanda loved well and was well-loved. She will be sorely missed.

Graveside services for Mrs. Hall will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
