Wayne Eugene Baker

Mr. Wayne Eugene (Gene) Baker, 94 of Guntersville, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021. He was born November 15, 1926, to Aro and Mary Grace Baker in Morgan County, AL. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Guntersville.

Mr. Baker is survived by his son Jerry Wayne Baker; grandsons Jerry Wayne Baker, Jr. and Wayne Norman; great grandchildren Savannah Baker, Olivia Baker, Adalynn Baker, Jerry Wayne Baker, III, Jacey Norman and Joseph Norman; brother Arlon Baker; and sister Vonda Richerson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 plus years, Marie Baker and daughter Janice Norman.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 15, 2021, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home with the service to follow in the chapel at 11:30 a.m.
