William Luke “Billy” Bond Sr., age 79, passed away peacefully at home on October 15, 2025, surrounded by family. Born June 17, 1946, to Jessie F. Bond and Eddie Benford, Billy was a man of faith, a gifted storyteller, and a true Jack of all Trades. Known for his wild tales, mystery-meat stews, and generous heart, he leaves behind a loving wife, Brenda Bond; eight children; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a wide circle of family and friends who will carry on his legacy.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Word of Faith MB Church at 1601 W. Hobbs St. Athens, AL 35611.
