William Andrew Campbell was born August 29th,1949 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to parents William and Norma Campbell. He shared his parents with one sister Ann. William grew up as a military child and this resulted in his traveling with his parents to many different places. He graduated high school and received a football scholarship with Virginia Tech College. In 1968, William, entered the military and went off to serve in Vietnam. Upon completing that service, he re-enlisted in the Army in 1979 where he served until his retirement.
William enjoyed many activities such as fishing, canoeing, gardening, and target shooting.
William was preceded in death by his parents.
William is survived by his wife Jeanie Campbell, two sons, Dr. William Joseph Campbell (Brittany), David Andrew Campbell, a stepson Daniel Reinhardt, stepdaughter Rebekah (Harold Dean) Thornton III, three grandchildren; Ava Rose Campbell, Brody Campbell, and Adaline Thornton. William is also survived by his sister Ann Campbell Cook.
William's loyalty and one of his greatest loves was the United States Military and the United States Government.
