Yana (Henson) Fergerson

Yana Mariea Henson Fergerson, 66, of Huntsville, Alabama, slipped perfectly away into heaven, two days after her mother, Betty Henson, on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

Our loving mother, granny, wife, aunt, cousin, and friend to many was born on December 23, 1957, to Buck and Betty Henson, in Huntsville, Alabama, and she attended Lee high school.

Our mother, Yana Fergerson, never met a stranger, and always seemed to have an uncanny way of knowing everyone. She was a friend to many and will be missed by all who knew her, especially those whom she has left behind.

Yana was met at the gates of heaven by her parents, Buck and Betty Henson, her brothers Ronnie and Donnie Henson, a daughter Mackenzie Rae Fergerson, her grandparents Cora and Field Lewis and Ellen Henson Honey and her aunt’s Barbara Lewis Palmer and Edna Honey Mullins.

Her surviving family members are her husband: Michael Ray Fergerson, daughters: Mindy Fergerson, Chassy Wilcox (Nate), Misty Campbell (Will), grandchildren: Hunter Campbell, Ethan Wilcox, Hollee Campbell, and Lucas Wilcox. Nieces: Jennifer Henson Bishop, Heather Henson Dalton (Doug), Lisa Cowley Richards. Great Nieces: Taylor Bishop, Claire Keel, and Marlie King, and Great Nephew: Jackson Bishop, Great Nephew CJ Bressoud. Great-Great Nephew Bear Bressoud, and Great-Great Niece Bostyn Bressoud.

Also, a special fur baby, Buffy Jo.
