John Paul Breden

John Paul Breden Jr. was born, September 10, 1940, at West Point, New York to parents Colonel John Paul and Jeannette Breden. Paul was an Army Brat, traveling the country and the world.  He lived in Japan as a child and when he was in high school he and his family lived in Kaiserslautern, Germany.  Paul graduated from Kaiserslautern American High School where he gracefully played the French horn.

Back in the states, Paul graduated from American University in 1967, with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. Later in 1974, he received his Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida. Paul worked for over 40 years in the defense industry with the United States Army on antennas, microwaves and missiles. Some of his major accomplishments were BoB (Best of Breed) microwave transmit/ receive module and the THAAD radar.

Paul was a Boy Scout and Boy Scout leader. He enjoyed boating, reading, bowling, swimming, listening to classical music and most of all nature watching. When he finally retired in Huntsville, Alabama, he found his love in model trains.

Paul leaves behind his wife, Nancy and dog GiGi; his sister Jeannette Garfield of Titusville, Florida and daughters Jennifer Breden Little (Terry) of Largo, Florida and Jackie Breden Peruche (Fred) of Largo, Florida. Five grandchildren: Jeffrey Robinson and Heather Robinson both of Largo, FL; Joseph Peruche (Rachel) of Tucson, Arizona; Chelsea Bryant (Matt) of Omaha, Nebraska, and Aimee Peruche of Tampa, Florida. Also, three great-grandchildren Damon, Piper and Lincoln and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
