Paul was a dear friend, a very special man. David and I spent a lot of time with Paul & Nancy when they were in Florida. I have so many memories of his sayings and songs (many of them quite inappropriate here). The eggs & ham one, and " guaranteed not to warp, tear, shrink or wrinkle......................
My condolances to Nancy, Jennifer, Jackie and all of Paul's family

What fond memories I have of Paul during our high school days in Kaiserslautern, Germany. When my family returned to the States in 1959 Paul, Bruce Brown and I spent an evening together. It was my last time to see Paul, but Bruce and I reconnected about five years ago and he kept me informed about Paul during these last years. I spoke briefly to Paul when he was in the hospital just a few days before he returned home, and assured him he was in my thoughts and prayers. I know he is now free and at peace, yet he will be missed by so many whom he loved and those who knew him. He blessed many lives.

Thank you for your wonderful memory. I know my Dad cherished his friends and often spoke of those from Germany.

Paul was my neighbor and a dear sweet man. All the talks we had about trains, our military experiences, and just life in general were precious to me. I shall miss him greatly and things just won't be the same here without him. I loved him dearly and will miss him very much.

Paul and I had been friends for almost 60 years, both being "Army Brats." We first met in Kaiserslautern, Germany, both attending Kaiserslautern American High School. We enjoyed many adventures there, continuing after we both returned to the States. He was the Best Man at my wedding. I remember the family, especially his grandfather and his saying mentioned earlier, "If w e had any eggs we could have ham and eggs, if we had any ham." I have an abundance of warm memories of Paul , and I will miss him terribly. Rest peacefully my friend.

One of my earliest memories of Paul is that of him taking Jennifer, Jackie and I waterskiing on Lake Seminole when I was around 12. I never made it out of the water, but Paul tried mightily! I have enjoyed his company during my teenage years as I grew up with Jennifer and Jackie.

Nancy, girls, and family, he will be missed.

Dad always had a way about him, especially with his 'sayings'. My favorite is "Hey Dad how are you today?" Answer: "Fine as a frog's hair, split in two and shaved on both sides". He was a wealth of knowledge, like when my sister and I were growing up we would ask "How do you spell such & such?" My dad's answer was "look it up". Yep. Or when my sister and I would argue with each other. Dad would make us stand in opposite corners and then kiss and make-up. Needless to say we spent a lot of time in the corners.
I will miss our chats, learning bits and pieces of German and about him growing up and other family members and cherish the good memories. And most of all, I will miss him saying "I love you too, sweetheart."

When we worked together, Paul and I were daily lunch companions. We shared a few lunchtimes as well as members of the informal ROMEO group. We were coworkers and friends, and I have a lot of good memories from that experience. I remember him quoting his "Grand-pappy" occasionally saying "If we had any eggs we could have ham and eggs if we had any ham." Maybe the ham came first, I'm not sure. I wish I could here it one more time.

So to Nancy and Jennifer and the family members I never met, Janet and I are extremely sorry for your loss. Paul will be missed and remembered often.
