Mary Sedenquist

Mrs. Mary Wann (Terry) Sedenquist, age 74, of Huntsville passed away Sunday  at a local nursing home.   A native of Decatur, she has resided in Huntsville for 50 years.  She was a graduate of Florence State Teacher College, now U.N.A. and received her Masters degree from UAH in 1976.  She retired from Huntsville City School, Grissom, in 1999.  

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Sedenquist.

Mrs. Sedenquist is survived by her two daughters, Sabrena Wood, and husband Bob, and Molly Parker, and husband Jeff; two granddaughters, Katherine (Wood) Messervy, and husband William, and Anne Wood; one great-grandson Henry Wood Messervy; and a one-time faithful caregiver Margaret Staggs.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville where the family will receive friends Thursday from 1:30 until 3:00pm.  A service will follow at 3:00pm in Spry Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Judes Children Hospital or the Huntsville Public Library.
