I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

Mary Sedenquist was a friend and colleague in the Grissom English Department for many years. Two of my children were members of the staff of THE IMPRINT, the school newspaper which Mary sponsored for many years. We were also fellow church members. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Sabrina and Molly along with their families in the loss of their mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. May God's richest blessings of grace, peace, and comfort abide with you in the days to come.

Dear Sabrena and Molly & Family:

I'm so sorry to read of your mother's passing. (My sister, Charla, a fellow GHS graduate, forwarded the notice to me). I was just thinking of her the other day for some reason. She was my first journalism teacher and the person who most strongly encouraged me to follow my dreams to Northwestern, where my life was forever changed for the better. I'll be forever grateful to her and The Imprint.

Sadly,

Becky Theim

Prayers for the family during this difficult time. I'm glad I got to visit with Mary Wann a few times last year. She was a funny cousin of mine and we had some fun times together in high school. Great memories!
