Callie “Kim” Bryant
On December 14, 1965, a beautiful baby girl was born to parents A.J. and Mary Bryant. She was the only child to her proud parents and became the apple of their eyes.
Then on Wednesday, October 7th, as family and friends gathered around; she slipped away. Away from loved ones who were left to fill an empty void.
Callie Bryant of Brownsboro, better known as “Kim” to everyone, was a charming, caring person, who loved traveling, crafts, yard sales and Indian heritage. She loved spending time with everyone she knew, just chatting.
Kim left behind mother, Mary Bryant, several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and too many friends to count.
She had very close friends that thought of her more as a sister than a friend.
For instance, friend of 20 years, Frances Coulter, with whom she would talk to until one of them fell asleep. Karen Miller, her neighbor, shared her love of crafts. Jenny Wallace, who learned to drive a truck right along with Kim. Roy Oakes, a cousin from Missouri, shared in her joy of family vacations.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, A.J. Bryant, grandparents, Amos and Callie Bryant, Clyde and Ventres Smith and close friend, Jackie Maynard.
Visitation will be Friday October 9th from 5 to 9 pm at Spry Funeral Home with funeral on Saturday, October 10th at 2 pm with Pastor James Harrell officiating. Interment will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
