A memorial service for Charlotte M. Hudgens, 97 will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday July 25th, 2017 at Spry Funeral Home, 2411 Memorial Parkway NW, Huntsville, Alabama.  

Mrs. Hudgens passed away 8:55 AM on July 20, 2017 at Diversicare of Big Springs in Huntsville.

Charlotte Mullins was born July 25, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Jess E. and Snow Ferguson Mullins. She was united in marriage to Charles E. Hudgens on September 16, 1940 in Detroit. He preceded her in death May 3, 1986.

Charlotte was a homemaker for many years then became a Ward Clerk at Lester E. Cox Medical Center, Springfield, Missouri. She moved to Huntsville from Jefferson City, MO in 2010.

She is survived by her 3 children and spouses: Edward (Shirley) Hudgens, Huntsville, AL. Richard (Dorothy) Hudgens, Huntsville, AL. Cindy (Kerry) Rowland, Jefferson City, MO. Two sisters Mary Lou Houton, Flint MI and Carol Lee Clifford, Richmond, KY.

She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
