Mrs. Limbach and her family have always been among the nicest of people. She was a very dear and genuinely caring sister. I don't remember her "taking sides" during controversies; she just gently, lovingly, and powerfully encouraged. "Miss Kathie" was committed to the professional delivery of effective, objective, and compassionate public service. Her deep love for people evidently began at her family and radiated outward. Memories of "Miss Kathie" and her examples for good living are treasures for a Lifetime. It has been over 25 years that I had the pleasure of meeting this terrific couple (Doug and Kathy). The love that they showed each other was beautiful to watch and at times laugh. Over the 25 years I had gone several years without seeing them and NEVER did Kathy make me feel I was ever gone a day. She always had open arms. She was a strong willed woman. Kathie was such a big part of AEHA for all these years. Kathie was my right hand when I was president in 2012. I am deeply saddened by this news but I pray that all Kathie's family and friends find peace through others that new her as I did. She was always an environmentalist at heart. Wow, what is there NOT to say?!!! She was my husband's best friend, and vise versa. She excepted me into the family and was generous to give us our Kristina to share as our daughter AND SHE IS!!!! and our beautiful grand daughter, Amber Marie. :) ( tears) When we moved down there, there was no question to us moving in with them. We did for 3 months. She loved my sauce and I use have a homemade tapioca pudding waiting for her when she came home. We love you Kathie, always will be missed. Hang tough Doug, Kris, Amber, et. al.

Kathie was a wonderful friend to me for 20 years. We met when we moved next door to them. There were a lot of good times on the weekends just sitting outside and talking. She was the kind of friend that was always there for you. Your pain or happiness was hers also. If she loved you she never stopped. She had the best sense of humor and was always smiling or laughing. So so sweet and kind. Always thinking of others instead of herself I will miss you. I love you. Praying for Doug and Kris.
