I had the great good fortune to have Mrs. McMillan as an English teacher. She was exceptional, both as a teacher and as a guiding hand during those difficult teen years. My deepest condolences to her family. -- John Schlatter; Fulton High School Class of 1968

I was privileged to have been in Mrs. McMillan's junior and senior English class at Fulton in 1966 and 1967. She was such a gifted teacher. I was so proud to have attained the level of expectation she held for her students that I have kept my senior English research paper bearing the A written by her hand, yellowed with age as it is. To be one of her students meant you were entertained, instructed, held spellbound by her lectures on English history and left eager for the next day to be able to do it all over again.Her family and friends are in my prayers. I just hope each of you know the legacy of love she has written on so many of her students' hearts.
