Titus Wayne Cooper, age 75 of Hazel Green, passed away on Monday night at his sister's residence in Big Cove, Alabama with family and friends at his bedside. Wayne was the son of the late Roy and Clara Cooper of Gurley, Alabama. Wayne was born in Big Cove, Alabama at home. Wayne loved life and had a great sense of humor, he loved his dogs, his family, fishing, making a garden, helping can and freeze vegetables and Alabama football.

Wayne was preceded in death by his loving wife Debra Kim Cooper, son Terry Cooper, father Roy Cooper, mother Clara Cooper, and two brothers, James Emmett Cooper and Jimmy Wilson Cooper.

He is survived by his two daughters, Kim Mangus of Toney and Rhonda Atchley, and husband Tony of Huntsville; one son, Tracy Cooper, and wife Lynn of Huntsville; two brothers, Robert Cooper and wife Betty, of Keel Mountain and Larry Cooper, and wife Sue, of Keel Mountain; sister, Cathy Cooper Maples of Big Cove; five grandchildren, Brandon Mangus, Brittany Mangus, Christian Cooper, Jarod Atchley, and Lauren Atchley and numerous nieces and nephews

Pallbearers are: Brandon Mangus, Benny Cooper, Allen Cooper, York Brewer, Camden Brewer, and Allen Turner, and honorary pallbearer, Don Webster.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home, where family will receive friends Thursday, November 19, from 4:00 until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 20, at 1pm in Spry’s chapel with Rev. Joe Ventress officiating. Interment will follow at Neal’s Chapel Cemetery.
