I met Doug while sharing a passion for flight. Although we never met in person i have very fond memories of this wonderful man that i am proud to have known and learned from . My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

It was privilege to know Doug and share the enjoyment of his company and conversation via the computer on msflights.net for the last three years. My best wishes to his family at time of personal loss, from all of us who knew him as a gentle and kind man. We will all miss our friend.

Dear friend and fellow pilot, I'll miss your companionship. Thank you for the gifts we shared and the time we spent together. Every morning I admire the eagle you carved for me.
