Mrs. Lisa Dianne Anderson, 52, of Madison, AL passed away suddenly in her home on Thursday. Mrs. Anderson was born in Encino, CA to the late James L Martin and Jane D Thomson Martin Shugrue.  Lisa was a devoted Army wife and her greatest joy in life was her family. One of her greatest memories was working with various Army family groups and the USO. She was instrumental in leading the effort to fixate a bright yellow ribbon around the Old Cape Henry Lighthouse guiding her husband and his Soldiers home from Iraq. Lisa lived a full and happy life and will be deeply missed by all who cherished her.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband, of 31 years, Brian Anderson; three children, Rebecca Anderson, Daniel Anderson, and wife Holly, and Alan Anderson; mother, Jane Shugrue; father-in-law, Alan Anderson; two sisters, Deborah Thomas and Heather Green; three brothers, James “Mickey” Martin, Steven Martin, and Charlie Martin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 until 6:00 pm.  Service will follow in Spry’s Chapel at 6:00 pm with lifelong friend, Chaplain (COL) John Read, officiating.
