James Tyrese "Tee" LaShawn Townsend, age 15, of Huntsville passed away Thursday at a local hospital.  A native of Huntsville, he attended Mae C. Jeminson High School.

James  is survived by his parents, Dwight and Rochelle Townsend; three sisters, Ashley Earls, Denise Townsend, and Mya Townsend; two brother Dwight Townsend and Joseph Earls; maternal grandmother, Brenda McDonald and husband Randall Collier; paternal grand mother, Janice Robinson and husband Darryl; paternal grandfather, Newman Holmes; and numerous extended family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 until 8:00pm.  A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:30am at St Luke Christian Church with Reverend Gwendolyn Holmes, Pastor Troy Gardner, and Reverend Angela Sims officiating.  Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
